"Thanks for inviting Woodhead Team along to deliver a
presentation on Mountain Rescue on Wednesday. We raised a
total of £72 during the collection after the event. This
amount would, as an example, allow us to buy two protective
climbing helmets for team members to use when working on steep
ground/crags/around helicopters. Importantly I feel we raised
the profile of Mountain Rescue in the area - a very valuable
outcome."

Masterclass:
"...Thanks
very much for organising the class on friday. I did really
enjoy it and would certainly be interested in hearing
/learning a bit more. If you organise the follow up course,
please let me know! Useful stuff... all the different
techniques we covered, it all helped to make me more aware of
how I climb now and how I should climb! What did I get out of
it? I'll let you know when I've been climbing properly and
tried to put some of the techniques into action! I was quite
pleased with what I was able to do on Friday and I'm sure
it'll help me to focus and improve my, sadly quite crap,
climbing! The only downside is that the session seemed to go
quite quickly and I would have liked to have done a bit more.

had a great time on Friday, and learnt a lot. I admit at first
I hadn’t a clue what he was talking about, but as the session
went on it started to make sense, I hope with practice that it
will improve my climbing. I know John and Pete both enjoyed
themselves, and Stuart has asked if he will do a more advanced
course. I think people got different amounts out of the class;
you need to be a little broad minded to be able to understand
Johnny’s rather unique style. I’d defiantly do another course
if Johnny came back to advance of this one. Thanks for a great
evening..."
